Paved With Good Intentions: The NGO
Experience in North Korea (2003) reports the findings
of a research study that examined the impact of NGO and U.N.
humanitarian relief efforts in North Korea after 1995. Through
this study of relief activities, the authors (Scott Snyder, L.
Gordon Flake, Chung Oknim and Michael Schloms) shed light on
what is arguably the world’s most inaccessible and closed
nation. The research study was supported by a grant from the
Smith Richardson Foundation. (Contact info@mansfieldfdn.org for
purchase information.)
Entrepreneurship in Asia: Playbook for Prosperity (2003) is

creation in Asia. (Available at no cost or at www.mansfieldfdn.org/programs/entrepreneurship)
