Sara Seavey is a program assistant with the Mansfield Foundation where she has direct responsibility for assisting the Mansfield Fellowship Program Director with the day-to-day implementation of the Mansfield Fellowship Program, as well as the recruitment and selection of new Fellows. Previously Sara worked as an administrative assistant at the Center for Women Policy Studies, a policy analysis and research institution focusing on women’s rights. In 2005, Sara served as an intern at the Mansfield Foundation where she successfully assisted with the administration of the Mansfield Fellowships recruitment effort and the U.S.-Japan women in politics and public service program. Previously, she also completed an internship at the Fund for Global Human Rights. Sara has extensive Japanese language and culture experience. She holds a B.A. in International Relations from Connecticut College.
